10 of the best My Morning Jacket songs

I remember hearing Jim James' silo-stained croons resonating for very the first time and falling into bittersweet bliss. The rewarding nature of these mantras was crystal clear from the beginning; honesty. This became even more apparent to me in 2008 when I was finally able to catch the band touring (it was in Bristol). Jim told the crowd about his beautiul experiences on the waterfront and the suspension bridge earlier that day. Had it been anybody else, you'd have been thinking 'cheesy crowd pleaser' however, there was a natural poetry and complete frankness to the way in which his dulcet Kentucky drawl articulated. This sincerity is an allying constant throughout the band's material, and it helps define true folk songs which the peasants would be proud to sing.

Only recently have My Morning Jacket started to receive any type of commercial success and they've been active for fourteen years which, though common with cult-groups, is still quite astonishing. After six studio efforts, an array of EPs and a few solo albums, SupaJam bring you our ten favourite My Morning Jacket songs.
