The Bands
The Gin Riots
The Gin Riots up coming EP release is just a small part of the exciting list of events that are coming up in the Riot's world. The guys will be hitting up the summer music festival circuit - not only will they be playing Sellindge in Kent (June 12), but they'll be making their much anticipated sophomore visit to Toronto's NXNE Music Festival (June 16 - 20) and the Baltic's largest independent music festival Positivus in Latvia (July 17 - 18). All of this follows their recent, successful, showcase at SXSW where KLBJ called them "awesome" and FOX TV Austin hailed them as "brilliant." Formed in Bristol by Irishman Cillian Logue and Londoner Guy Stevenson, the band started off on a more acoustic foot, but over time and with the addition of Tim Burton and Taan Parker - the group has moved towards their true calling, developing into a punkier, eclectic style. And their tunes have not gone unnoticed since they released their Mother Ruin EP. Summer Kiss Records added the boys rendition of Be Sweet to their Afghan Whigs tribute record and their recent video, The Polka, was shot in collaboration with the legendary zombie film director George A. Romero.

She's A Boy

Born with guitars in their hands and drums at their feet these magnifique musketeers, Aleksander, Cyril, Romuald and Stefan, all met one cold spring evening in 2008 in a seedy Parisian club. They all teased the same flirtatious and absolutely gorgeous girl, only to discover that she was a boy! So, after hours of heavy drinking, laughter and taking cheap shots at each other, they toast to what they found they have in common (Gils, Charlie Chaplin, Ghandi) became friends, decided to form a band... and "She's a Boy" was born.
