HOW TO VOTE
On Supajam you don't vote for your artist to win a competition - you rate them! We find that this is is a much fairer way of judging a bands popularity and less open to manipulation if you get our drift!
In order to rate an artist you need to log in (don't forget to register with the site first) - that way we can tell that you are a genuine fan.
After that simply go to the artist you would like to rate and click on the number of stars underneath their media player - 5 stars for good and 1 star for ....not so good. You can find your favourite artist using the search box at the top of every page, following a link from a friend or browsing through artists on the FIB entries page.
Q. Can someone rate more than one artist?
A. Absolutely. A person can rate as many of the entries as they'd like. However, you can't rate the same artist more than once.
Q. How are the public ratings calculated?
A. We don't reveal the rating details in order to avoid people gaining an unfair advantage. However, it is a combination of the number of people who listen to your track in full, rate your track and the rating that each person gives.
Q. How else can I get people to vote?
A. We are giving away banners for artists or their fans to post up on their myspace, Facebook, Twitter and other social sites. Simply click on "Promote ur entry" in the contest navigation, pick the banner of your choice and copy the code into your chosen site page.
You can also email a friend and get them involved with the voting as well - simply click on your favourite artist and then click on where it says "Share" beside the ratings. Select whether you would like to post the link to your favourite social site (MySpace, Twitter Facebook etc) or email a friend.
