A fantastic set of acoustic performances kicked off the first in out Fast Track to Hop Farm heats.
Quirky and very cool 'Silent Cites', soulful bluesy 'Lucy Kitt' and hauntingly brilliant 'Morrissey and Marshall' sailed into the grand final on March 5th.
Huge shout out to the fantastically intricate guitar-smith 'Jay Fraser', passionately intense 'Hay Zeus' the beautiful Lana Del Ray like 'Es Muss Sein'.
You all made the night what it was .... an inspiring showcase of some of the best acoustic music around.

Jacob Serra
The second evening of our Fast Track to Hop Farm Acoustic competition did not fail to impress last night at the 101 Club in London.
The judges were overcome with the level of talent on show and want to make a mention of the fantastic performances made by the wonderfully emotional and soulful Jacob Serra and the original and amazingly ecletic pop/folk group Ruby and the Ribcage!
If the judges could have they would have progressed everyone forward to the final.
BUT ... they had to pick just two.
The two well deserving acts that were awarded their positions in the Grand Final (on March 5th at 101 Club) were the intense and refreshingly accomplished, Jeff Buckley-esk, Luke De-Sciscio and the frankly amazing Kal Lavelle who's strong, energising songs and spirit held the entire venue in the palm of her hand for her entire set.
WELL DONE GUYS!!!
Our final heat is taking place on Monday 27th February and our grand final is on Monday 5th March, both at 101 Club, 101 New Oxford Street.
Monday 27th February
The standard was so high on our third evening, that the judges had to put 3 through to the live Final! Holy Moly and the Crackers whipped the crowd up into a frenzy with their melodies and top tapping charm. James Kelly showed us just how fast a guitar can be strummed, without causing internal combustion and delivering strong vocals and richness. Dan Korn wowed the judges with his beautiful lyrics and his captivating perfomance.
Congratualtions to everyone that made it such a memorable evening and for making the judges decisions so tough to make1
The grand final is on Monday 5th March at the 101 Club, 101 New Oxford Street.
