20 UK Universities have now banned Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines

Robin Thicke's song 'Blurred Lines' has now been banned in around 20 UK universities around for its sexist lyrics and connotations of rape.

Student unions across the likes of Leeds, Nottingham, Anglia Ruskin, Brighton, Birmingham and Kingston are among universities to have imposed a full ban recently, while several other institutions are contemplating following their lead.

The song was initially banned at Edinburgh University, and other universities have now followed suit.
