Allflaws dub themselves as dark, and they’re from Bristol. This means they’ve got pretty high expectations to live up to, and the good news is they make them easily. They’ve got a gritty, semi-threatening vocal over the top of a genuinely dark mix of beats, and just in case you’ve not got the vibe (we’re thinking late nights in deserted urban streets with something hunting you), the video for R Complex mixes a man having a sweet date with threatening a bound man in his cellar.

All we’d say is the song and video are perfect until the very end, when the ‘throttling a bloke’ face looks more like a ‘wank face’.  Allflaws’ R Complex EP is out now.
