Aretha Franklin wins Pulitzer Prize

Aretha Franklin wins Pulitzer Prize
The Pulitzer Prize is a big deal in America, and almost a year after she passed away Aretha Franklin has been awarded one. The ‘we’re sorry we didn’t do this when you were alive’ award is a Special Citation for Contribution to American Music and Culture, which they really should have bothered doing at least twelve months earlier.
