Axl Rose had a much publicized argument with the staff at the Reading and Leeds festival after being late for both gigs. On the first occasion he was an hour late, and on the second half an hour, and the reported reason why? He was asleep. Not a great excuse really given how many people tour with Axl, but here’s the thing: his staff are under orders not to wake him, so they didn’t and he was late. Axl, you’re not a Roman emperor or a Russian dictator, your entourage are supposed to offer some help in these matters. Anyway, simply following orders appears to have got a few of them sacked.
