Band attempts 250 gigs in 250 days

The things some people do for fun...

While some of us struggle to get out of bed and arrive at work on time five days in a row, others are slightly more ambitious. The shackles of mundanity are kicked away, guitars are grabbed, and towns are (acoustically) rocked.

Independent band Delve are currently embarked on their Food and Fuel Tour, a reckless venture that aims to play 250 shows in 250 days. At the time of writing they are on gig number 134, which will no doubt be added to soon.

The duo have taken the tour all over the UK and Ireland, with The First Chop in Ramsbottom taking the honours tonight and the View Two Gallery in Liverpool playing host to them on Saturday. How can they skip a day? They played two shows yesterday! Further shows will take place in glamorous locales such as Lincoln, Newcastle, Aberdeen, York, Norwich and maybe even your town if you ask nicely.

The 250th gig will take place at The Regal Rooms in London on the 21st of December. More details here. If you want to catch them before that then check out their tour dates page, where further gigs are being added all of the time.

Check out their track 'Lakes and Seas' below, if you like it then grab a copy of their EP!
