Bastille talk about their new 'apocalyptic party record'
Bastille have been speaking to NME, and fans need to know that the third album is well underway: “We never really stop writing and recording,” singer Dan Smith said, “but I can confirm we spent a lot of this year writing our third album.”
Then he explained what the it’ll sound like: “We wanted to do something that feels a bit different, wanted to take it a step on from our last record and acknowledge that since we released that album the world seems an even more bizarre and tempestuous place.” The answer is to produce an  “apocalyptic party record” instead.
This is good, but let’s be realistic, they need to get a shift on or they’ll be releasing it to the cockroaches left behind us.
