Black Deer Festival Announce Huge First Headliner and More Great Acts

Black Deer Festival Announce Huge First Headliner and More Great Acts
Black Deer is the award-winning Americana festival which is already a haven for the sounds, sights and smells of the South. Featuring authentic food, a community vibe and music which varies from soft Country through to barn storming smoky Rock, it’s going to be the place to be in June 2019 for anyone with outsider spirit.

Well, they’ve now announced their first headliner, and it’s a huge one. No less than Band of Horses will be taking to the biggest of the Eridge Park stages, with songs drawn from a deep catalogue of much-loved albums. If that wasn’t enough, there’s also a rare UK live show from the John Butler Trio, and as we’re all about great music we’ve embedded songs by them below: after all, nothing is a better advert for music than the music itself.

Supajam are presenting Jade Bird as the headliner of their own stage, a UK talent who’s already well travelled and channelling that through her music. In addition, The Dead South are bringing their Canadiancana to the stage, along with American sisters Larkin Poe and a man whose life reads like the darkest of Jonny Cash ballads: Ryan Bingham.

Let’s step away from music for a moment, because Live Fire are bringing the best of the scene’s BBQers for some mouth watering action, and when you’ve refuelled you’ll be able to see Grammy award winner Chance McCoy, as well as cover legends Hayseed Dixie and many, many more.

Black Deer Festival recently won the AIF’s New Festival on the Block award and takes place at Eridge Park in Kent on Friday 21st till 23rd June 2019. Here’s the ticket link: https://blackdeerfestival.com/tickets/
