Black Deer Festival: New Acts Announced

Black Deer Festival: New Acts Announced
Black Deer Festival’s sophomore season is June 21st to 23rd 2019, in Eridge Park in Kent. You’ve already seen some of the great acts previewed here on Supajam, and there will be many more in the next few weeks but… it’s time for the next batch of announcements.

So who’s going to be coming down and playing? None other than Kris Kristofferson will be gracing the stage, and he’ll have Merle’s Haggard’s band The Strangers with him. Then you’ve got Neko Case, who’s been delighting us for years with solo and group work.

There’s also The Mavericks of Dance The Night Away fame, and the Staves, who actually come from Watford. The act behind Cherry Red, aka The Groundhogs, will be playing, as will Justin Townes Earle and Brant Bjork.

Black Deer Festival mixes the best of Americana and Country, with food, clothing and culture featured alongside the all-important music. Tickets are on sale now: https://blackdeerfestival.com/tickets/

Okay, let’s have some music! (Neko Case live)
