Black Deer Focus: Mountains

Black Deer Focus: Mountains
London four piece Mountains have an album called ‘Dust in the Glare.’
Dust isn’t quite right, more like massive slabs of rock towering above, only moved by huge tectonic forces. Mountains all right, standing proud.
As you can tell, their art is a mixture of stoner riffs, fuzz and driving power, with a prog lightness in places. References to mythology and the US mix. Think a sludge Led Zeppelin. Take a spin on twenty six minutes of Dust in the Glare below, and find them at Black Deer Festival this summer.
If you want something more immediate, the digital download is just £3 on Bandcamp, while the vinyl is a relatively well priced £15.
