Okay, the Blues Brothers are only a fictional band from films and stage, but their songs had a great crossover impact and most people will recognise the pair from their trademark suits, hats and shades, so we’re covering them here. According to Judy Belushi Pisano, the widow of original Blues Brother John Belushi, she and a team have planned a TV show to extend the story. Now, obviously John is dead, so the creative team have turned to Wayane Catanoa and Kieron Lafferty, who play the characters on stage. Judy explained more to Undercover:
“It is about what music does for your soul, the uplifting and all elements of despair,' she says. “We always come back to humour in the blues. Between laughing and the way music plays are two really important elements in your life and to touch upon. It lightens your load and invigorates your soul.” Obviously it will be good and cancelled after four episodes.
