Bob Dylan, a man known for revolutionising and injecting pop music with depth in lyricism, has today been awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature.

The Academy's Secretary Sara Danius announced the news, hailing Dylan as "a great poet in the English-speaking tradition," and "a wonderful sampler – a very original sampler" She continued. "For 54 years now, he has been at it and reinventing himself, constantly creating a new identity," she added.
