Bonehead opens up about Liam Gallagher's 'OASIS' tweet

After Liam Gallagher tweeted 'OASIS' last week, people were shocked. 'Liam can spell', people thought, whilst others felt it suggested a reunion.

Liam was probably picking his belly button fluff, bored, and fancied causing a bit of a furore to go with his 12pm luncheon: cider and raw salmon. So decided to spell out 'O A S I S' on twitter.

This sparked rumours that they would be announced as the final headliner for Glastonbury, however guitarist Bonehead said the tweets were posted during a drinking session in the pub.

Now, the he has stated conclusively, that there is no reunion on the cards. "Everyone hopes it happens, but there’s nothing going on," Bonehead said in an interview with Female First. "I met Liam in the pub that evening he Tweeted the letters spelling the band and he didn’t mention he’d done it. Next thing, reunion talk everywhere." In a previous interview with NME, Bonehead asked: "What did he tweet, was it regarding fig rolls or something? There were no fig rolls involved officer."

The tweets were a reaction to what, then, Mr Head? "Probably the fact that I texted him going, ‘Meet me in the beer garden’. That probably rattled his cage. Maybe that.
