To all the singers out there: don’t be too proud to go for a little vocal fine tuning to help your voice survive. We’re not talking auto-tune here, we’re talking a good, old fashioned singing teacher. Killers’ frontman Brandon Flowers has been talking to the Associated Press, and he revealed that he’d been to a voice coach before the sessions for Battle Born began.

He wasn’t trying to change too much, or "trying to be an opera-singer", but "I wanted to be better, get better and it's just helped me… [the coach] knows what my ambitions are and he knows there's a certain style and something I've already got going on. We're just trying to fine-tune a few things."
