This is something which will have the fifteen year olds of ten years ago interested; Nickleback's Chad Kroeger and The Skater Joy herself, Avril Lavigne are six months down the line in what looks to be  sturdy relationship. Their confidence in one another has now stretched to studio time, and it has been confirmed today by Epic Records bozz LA Reid that Kroger has been recording and working on her new record.

"She worked with Chad Kroeger, who is now her fiance, and they did a really good record." Said Reid. "We're in the mixing process now and I expect to release it very soon. I'd like to get it out this year, but time seems to be flying. If we don't, it will be top of the new year."

It's almost too perfect... I really hope this isn't a repeat of her love affair with SUM 41's lead singer, Deryck Whibley (her now ex-husband) - all those Nu-Metal hearts couldn't take it.
