Charity award invites you to vote and donate

Best Live Act

Nordoff Robins is a charity that helps provide ‘music therapy’ to children and adults suffering from autism, dementia, strokes and other illnesses, and they have a great way to raise money. They’re part of the O2 Silver Clef awards, and for Best Live Act 2012 they’re inviting you to ‘vote and donate’: you don’t have to give any money to vote, but if you want to you can donate a sum to the charity. There is a slight snag, as you have to vote based on a shortlist which includes stuff like The Wanted, but they have Rammstein, Kasabian and others. In fact it’s a very broad church, and if you’re wondering how it’s been picked, the 30 acts were selected based on Ticketmaster customer reviews.
