Cheering yourself up about the country with an evening of grime

You woke up with a pounding headache, the prime minister had resigned after a year of his term, and his alternative has been given a vote of no confidence.

Britain is fucked.

But not quite, because we have grime. And the Sonic stage on Friday night offered a non-stop enslaught of the best that we have to offer. An abrasive, energetic performance from Lady LeShurr, Stormzy bringing the star power with his unstoppable flow and Kano generally just delivering a performance that made us doubt the credibility of our own existance. It's all a bit much.

Grime is our country, grime is our movement. Glastonbury delivered it.
