The Coachella festival is held at the Empire Polo Club in California every year… but possibly not in the future, as a proposed tax is threatening to screw things up. Coachella say the demand would  add $36 to the cost of every ticket, and obviously they’re not happy about this. Rather than lumber the punters with what they estimate is a $4-6 million tax bill, they’ll take 2014 off and then move for 2015. It’s only a threat at the moment as the proposal – an admissions tax on events of more than 2,500 people – still has to be voted on (if the idea even gets that far).
