There’s a certain class of musician who only ever release their albums at Christmas, just in time for all the kids who don’t know what to buy their parents to seize upon the MOR. We don’t really know what to think about Chris Martin’s announcement that he wants the new Coldplay album to be out this Christmas. So instead we’ll focus on the paranoia surrounding the band’s attempts to stop leaks:

"There's only two people in the whole building who know how to open all the recording files…Even we know how to do it. We couldn't even steal our own music at the moment.
