Convicted sex offender suing Taylor Swift for over a million: 'She stole my life'

Convicted sex offender suing Taylor Swift for over a million: 'She stole my life'

A convicted sex offender is trying to sue Taylor Swift on the grounds that she stole his life.

Jose Hilario from Rhode Island is currently serving a prison sentence for possesing 85,000 child pornography images and videos on his computer... Something which, to the untrained eye, may seem like a slight departure from making hit records and holding up the music industry.

He claims that in 2008, the year of his arrest, the then 18 year old Swift emailed him and asked for help because "she was lonely and sad and that she needed someone to chat with" - now, if we just take a moment - this is two years after Taylor Swift had released her hugely successful first record. If the credibility needed questioning any further...

Hilario went on to claim that he met Swift in a Rhode Island mall in April 2008, and she promised him "she would help him with his legal problems and that she would write and sing songs about him." According to Hilario, Swift then backed out of the deal, saying: "the defendant did not keep her promise of giving legal help."

Just a matter of days later, the FBI arrested Hilario for the possession of child pornography.

"I know for a fact that the defendant have a good heart [sic] and that she will come back to her senses and not forget her promise that she made to me." Right.
