David Bowie like Metallica and Lou Reed’s Lulu and said complainers weren’t listening

David Bowie like Metallica and Lou Reed’s Lulu and said complainers weren’t listening
When Metallica and Lou Reed announced their collaboration on ‘Lulu’, we were excited. Who wouldn’t want an all-time great creator teaming with a top metal act for some obscure writing.

It turned, most people wouldn’t, especially after they heard an album that was best described as challenging, and at worst had comments that could appear on YouTube, a place where someone genuinely called Gestapo Pussyranch posts critique.

However, LCD Soundsystem main man James Murphy has some news: Bowie loved Lulu. Speaking to The Best Show, he recalled how Bowie said “That’s some of the best writing Lou’s done… People are making a snap judgement and they aren’t listening.”

So there we are. An opinion from someone who actually matters.
