Die Antwoord are a South African rap project placed somewhere between crude internet cresting comedy meme and culture skewing zeitgeist molesters. Now their short, but no less fierce, rapper Yo_landi Vi$$er (yes, that’s one more dollar sign than Kei$ha, which either means she’s twice as shit or taking the piss, we’re not sure which) has reportedly turned down the lead role in David Fincher’s unnecessary remake of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. We’ve not seen the original film, only read the original book, so we don’t know if she’s opted out because of the massive-dildo anal rape scene, or because something of actual serious substance isn’t Die Antwoord’s thing. She just said “it’s not something I want to do.” Or is this just a publicity stunt?
