Dolly Parton offers to adopt lost dog that was found at Glastonbury 2014

Dolly Parton offers to adopt lost dog that was found at Glastonbury 2014

A white dog was found in a tent during the Glastonbury Festival 2014 clear up, and was named 'Dolly' after the singer's awesome Glasto set.

Parton has now thrown her oar in on the dog who is at the local Happy Landings Animal Shelter, and is ready to help it swap Somerset for Tennessee.

"Well, I heard about the dog that was abandoned after Glastonbury Festival (official) this year that's since been named after me...

"I had my manager call the Happy Landings Animal Shelter to make sure the dog is being treated and cared for properly, and if nobody claims her, I'll take her back home to America! Ain't she cute?"

Dolly the dog is a "sweet-natured older lady" who arrived with a "serious ear infection", according to the shelter.
