Dr Dre’s life too extreme for Apple as it axes dramatization
You’d think the tie up between Apple and Beats would guarantee a drama based on the life of Dr Dre would get pushed to the front of Apple’s foray into TV… but no.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Apple boss himself – Tim Cook – axed the show Vital Signs because of content like “characters doing lines of cocaine, an extended orgy in a mansion and drawn guns”.

Apparently Apple’s TV offering isn’t going to like drawn guns, or televising the actions of its executives. Who knew Dr Dre’s life had sex and violence in it. We’re sure somewhere else will pick Vital Signs up, and make it even more explicit.
