Ed Sheeran announces stadium tour

Ed Sheeran announces stadium tour
Ed Sheeran has a chart record, some bestselling albums and the exposure of a massive Glastonbury headline gig, so what better time to announce a stadium tour of the UK and Europe. The ginger genius didn’t seem overawed by Glasto, even adding in some timed theatre like getting the audience to light their phones up, so these shows won’t be a problem.
Here the local ones:
Wednesday 9 May – Belfast, Boucher Playing Fields
Saturday 12 May – Galway, Pearse Stadium
Sunday 13 May – Galway, Pearse Stadium
Wednesday 16 May – Dublin, Phoenix Park
Friday 18 May – Dublin, Phoenix Park
Thursday 24 May – Manchester, Etihad Stadium
Friday 1 June – Glasgow, Hampden Park
Friday 8 June – Newcastle, St James’ Park
Friday 15 June – London, Wembley Stadium
Saturday 16 June – London, Wembley Stadium
Friday 22 June – Cardiff, Principality Stadium
Of course there is the question of getting tickets. They go on sale July 8th, which is a Saturday so no bunking off work, and it starts 10am. They’ll be on ebay for ten times the price shortly after.
