Eddie Vedder paid 25 grand to keep playing past a curfew: allegedly
On Friday night Eddie Vedder played a definitely getting your money’s worth 32 song set in Dublin, during which he left the stage for a short time. Now someone on the official Pearl Jam forum has offered an explanation for where he went and why the gig was so long.

And it’s amazing.

“A lad who works at the 3Arena said Eddie walked off stage and signed a cheque for €25,000 so he could keep playing”.

Did Eddie pay the fine for breaking the curfew and then calmly walk back and bang out the hits? We do not know for certain, but we’re going to always believe its true.
