Egyptian woman arrested for 'inciting debauchery' with new music video, watch

An Egyptian woman has fled the country after starring in a racy music video that has gone (a little bit) viral in the country.

Reda el-Fouly is filmed dancing provocatively to the song 'Sib Eddi' ('Hands Off' in English) in a piece that around 15,000 people have watched since publication.

The video features an fully-clothed adult woman shaking her boobs, dancing, looking a little awkward and goofing about: not enough to warrant a raised eyebrow, let alone an arrest. However, you can never second-guess how perverse the authorities in depraved cultures can be.

el-Fouly was arrested this week on the grounds of "disrupting morality", an arrest warrant has also been issued for her boyfriend, Wael Elsedeki, and a third person who is said to be involved. Mr Elsedeki has fled Egypt for Tunisia.
