Exciting update on the new Queens of the Stone Age album and tour

Are you a Queens of the Stone Age, more eager than ever for material and a tour? Well, Mastodon's Troy Sanders has today dropped the Homme with a promising update.

Sanders is part of a group named Gone is Gone with Queens' guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen and members of At The Drive-In, and he seems to be guaranteeing that their new record and your is imminent in a new interview with Rolling Stone. During the interview, he confirmed each member will be returning to their respective projects (Mastodon, Queens) to release records and tour in 2017.

“I like to think none of us needs [Gone Is Gone], but we all really want this band,” said Sanders. “When that’s the mentality, this is special to the four of us. Otherwise, we wouldn’t dedicate the first week of 2017 to working on this band.”

Now that's something to be excited about.
