After a couple of years of heavy touring off the back of his incredibly successful debut album, Irish sensation Hozier has returned with the first taste of new material.

Written for new Hollywood blockbuster The Legend of Tarzan, new track 'Better Love' cements the dramatic gospel-infused sound that has become something of his trademark. As we discover in the interview below, despite its accomplished and ornate sound, it was born out of some considerable haste. 

Eager to talk about his involvement with David Yates's The Legend of Tarzan film, he also spared some time to divulge with his opinions on favourite soundtracks, his songwriting process, the next album and the state of the protest song in the 21st century. Sadly, he also confirmed that he will not be writing 'Take Me To... A 2nd Referendum'.
