Fans berate Netflix into being nicer to Thanos

Fans berate Netflix into being nicer to Thanos
Now how non-spoilery can we be in a discussion of Avengers: Infinity War? I think we can say the ‘bad guy’ is called Thanos and he wants to kill a lot of people because that’s essentially the plot of every superhero film, but why have we tagged bad guy? Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the internet.

The movie is on US Netflix, and the company gave it a synopsis which said “Superheroes amass to stop intergalactic sociopath Thanos from acquiring a full set of Infinity Stones and wiping out half of all life in the universe.” This seemed a fair comment, but internet complainers rallied to the defence of… Thanos…

Really.

Some questioned whether Netflix knew what a sociopath was, many said he didn’t deserve that tag, and so many complained Netflix changed their fucking summary to “Invader. Annihilator. So-called savior. As Thanos moves closer to omnipotence, the fate of the universe rests with the Avengers.”

Really.
