It's the news we know a lot of SupaJammers were hoping for - Stevie Nicks has confirmed that Fleetwood Mac are indeed reuniting, and planning to hit the road in Spring next year. The singer, who voiced such evergreen classics as Everywhere and Go Your Own Way confirmed the rumours in an interview with ABC News Radio.
"We go into rehearsals somewhere around the end of February." She said, "if everything goes to plan, we should probably be out [on the road] by end of April [or] May, I would think."
Nicks went on to say that the band would probably work on new material, although as yet nothing was confirmed.
Fleetwood Mac have been repeatedly rumoured to be appearing at Glastonbury 2013, although the Eavis's are currently remaining coy on the issue, telling the NME that
"I think Fleetwood Mac would be amazing to get, I’ll be totally honest we haven’t had any conversations with them yet but, you know, it is still early days. We’re just talking to some headliners now. For us it’s about getting the balance of heritage bands, legends and new bands – just keeping that balance."
Here's some footage of Nicks performing the Fleetwood Mac song Rhiannon from earlier this year.
