Following freak April snow, fan starts campaign to get Prince's 'Sometimes it Snows in April' to num

There was snow across the whole South East this morning... In England... In April.

Seriously, what are the chances? What do we even say to that? 'Sometimes it Snows in April?' Because that's exactly what the late star Prince would have said.

Yes, the Purple one was ahead of his time in a lot of respects. And you can add predicting this snowfall in the week after his death to that list.

Following his death last week, a fan launched a Facebook campaign to get ‘Sometimes It Snows In April’ - the final track from Prince’s 1986 album Parade - to the top of the charts. The campaign has so far gained nearly 5,000 supporters.

Well, that was before this morning's surprising and somewhat poignant snowfall. We think the campaign now deserves a shed load of support. So let's do it.
