Foo Fighters suing over gigs cancelled after Paris attacks

Foo Fighters suing over gigs cancelled after Paris attacks

Foo Fighters are suing a company who owe them compensation following the Paris Bataclan attacks.

The group had a deal Lloyds Of London and are suing them, claiming that the insurers never reimbursed the band over the cancelled shows - or those missed after frontman Dave Grohl broke his leg during a gig last year.

Dave Grohl and co released the following statement after the attacks last year:

"It is with profound sadness and heartfelt concern for everyone in Paris that we have been forced to announce the cancellation of the rest of our tour," said Foo Fighters in a statment. "In light of this senseless violence, the closing of borders, and international mourning, we can't continue right now. There is no other way to say it. This is crazy and it sucks. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was hurt or who lost a loved one."
