For many years now The Killers have provided a perfect accompaniment to Christmas by releasing festive themed singles that manage to be sly, funny and touching. A compilation is on Spotify and other streaming services (called Don’t Waste Your Wishes), and we wanted to flag up our absolute fave, which includes the line “it’s been hard this year…”. It has, of course, and then the band beg “Don’t shoot me Santa.”
