Futurama is returning: but the mystery is as what

Futurama is returning: but the mystery is as what
Futurama was the second great project of Simpons’ creator Matt Groening and David Cohen, a science fiction animated comedy that to many people, including us, was actually funnier and cleverer than America’s favourite yellow family. It was brilliant, it got axed, it got brought back and was brilliant again. Then it ended, and we moved on.
Except, it’s coming back. But not as a TV show. Or a movie. If that sounds odd, it is, because David Cohen has been talking on Reddit and he explained “There are no new TV episodes or movies in the pipeline at the moment… HOWEVER, here and now I promise a different avenue of exciting Futurama news later this summer, no kidding… Keep your expectations modest and you will be pleased, possibly. I am not allowed to say more or I will be lightly phasered.”
So this is exciting, but also a marvelous source of guessing. Books, comics, YouTube, a range of suicide booths… we don’t know. But we’re happy.
