Gang Gang Dance are going to be getting a tidy sum after Florence Welch and her record company admitted to lifting part of the former’s track House Jam for their own hit Rabbit Heart. GGD’s singer has now spoken out, and "I'm happy now for sure,” she told 6 Music, “I think I was annoyed in the beginning because other people's reactions were affecting the way I was thinking about it – it's not a natural way for me to come out at somebody. I hope there's no hard feelings."

But she’s adamant Florence could have admitted her influences without the need for legal threats: "If she would have mentioned it in the beginning, in the press, which we never saw, that would have definitely made a difference. And if she was speaking of an homage at that point, that would have helped as well." Because it’s always a homage when you get caught.
