Garbage, and more specifically singer Shirley Manson, would be forgiven for giving Twitter a wide berth. Earlier this year she got death threats and a lot of crazy tweets from a nutter, and the police had to be called in.

Now the Garbage account has been hacked by someone pretending to be a drunk Shirley, and posting dozens upon dozens of tweets. And what does an idiot hacker do when he’s taken over someone’s twitter? According to Digital Spy, who saw it breaking, they ask “really attractive girls” to post pics. Sigh. The good news is the real Shirley is back in control. And presumably not too keen.
