Glastonbury declare victory in tent war

Glastonbury declare victory in tent war
With the environment high on the cultural agenda (if not the political one), and Glastonbury always concerned about such causes, the festival made a big push this year to get the site tidy, clean and everything put in its right place. The slogan “Love The Farm, Leave No Trace” was all over (the place).
Chief problem: tents, and people’s habits of buying cheap ones then going home without them. Well, good news: Emily Eavis has announced 99.3% of tents brought on site were taken back off it. (And probably dumped into a wheelibin at home).
Huge thanks, said Emily.
