Glastonbury has permission to increase capacity after transport deal

Glastonbury has permission to increase capacity after transport deal
Over recent years the team behind Glastonbury festival (led by the excellent Eavis family) have worked hard to keep the peace with the local council so everyone is happy. It’s not just that Glastonbury have to in order to retain their licence, they’re just genuinely community focused people. One major issue has been the numbers attending.

It’s emerged that Glastonbury now have permission to increase attendance by an extra seven thousand, taking the event to 210,000 punters. But there is a catch… a good catch.

Glastonbury have to act to make sure those extra seven thousand / seven thousand extra of the rest arrive and leave via public transport. Given that the rail stations are full of festival atmosphere / the car park is often muddy, this shouldn’t be too tricky.
