Goldie Lookin Chain aim for a 20th anniversary tour

Goldie Lookin Chain aim for a 20th anniversary tour
Do you remember, many years ago now, when a bunch of comedy rappers from Wales hit the zeitgeist with classics like Guns Don’t Kill People, Rapper’s Do? Maybe vaguely, but not only are the group still going (although one of them actually became a town councillor), but they are aiming for a twentieth anniversary tour.

We say aiming, because no one has any idea when gigs will restart, but they’ve announced Autumn and Winter dates:

Friday September 04 Birmingham, The Mill
Friday September 18 Porthcawl, Grand Pavillion
Saturday October 24 Aberystwyth, Arts Centre
Saturday November 07 Narberth, Queens Hall
Saturday November 21 Newport, Newport Centre
Thursday November 26 Llandudno, Venue Cymru
Friday December 04 Swansea, Sin City
Friday December 18 Leeds, Warehouse
Saturday December 19 Cardiff, Tramshed

Meanwhile, they livestream their brand of tunage regularly during lockdown.
