Grammy’s boss is breathtakingly sexist about women

Grammy’s boss is breathtakingly sexist about women
Lorde wasn’t offered a solo spot at the Grammys, unlike all the men in her category, because it’s institutionally sexist. If you want a prime example, we only need to listen to Neil Portnow, the head of it, who’s come out with some appallingly sexist bullshit.
On a lack of female candidates and women, he told Variety:
“It has to begin with… women who have the creativity in their hearts and souls, who want to be musicians, who want to be engineers, producers, and want to be part of the industry on the executive level… [They need] to step up because I think they would be welcome”
Oh, yes, of course Neil, the problem is a lack of women with passion. Nope, no it’s not, it’s misogynistic fossils like you who are blind.
