Here’s the new Spector song
Below you can hear the new Spector tune, ‘Untitled in D’, and it’s rawer than we’re used to.
This is deliberate because the band have said after two glossy albums of being in computers it’s time to strip things back, so new EP ‘Ex-Directory’ is scuffing everything up.
There’s still a familiar Spector sound, in fact it’s like someone took All The Sad Young Men and kicked it about the park as a football, then played it. The band have called the guitar work “the ghost of John Frusciante” and you can’t go wrong with that. Except he’s alive.
