It's a kind of magic: A fans' round-up of 'best Green Man Festival yet' - photos, moments and more

I've got a personal and long relationship with Green Man Festival. From the moment I first set my eyes on Sugar Loaf Mountain as an 18 year old in 2009, it was love at first sight. Since that year I've returned to it more than any other, and it has a special place in my heart. I've watched it grow from a hippy festival, through to something that represents a mini-encapsulation of the Park Stage at Glastonbury and culminating now, where it has such a strong identity. Showcasing some of the best indie cinema with Little White Lies and bringing a balance of off-kilter names and talent: between its aesthetic wonder and having the best sounding mainstage on the circuit, it has become the UK's definitive alternative music festival.

But as I have such an intimate relationship with this, the prize of the Brecon Beacons, you could possibly pop a question mark down next to the hyperbole I sometimes chuck out. But fear not: for I am far from full of it - and how can I prove that? With a cacophony of opinions from journalists, friends and punters alike of course! So we'll let them work their magic.

HUNDREDS OF FANS INVADE THE STAGE FOR BELLE AND SEBASTIAN:
