Nottingham 19 year old Jake Bugg has seen a surge in sales of his self titled debut album, released this week. According to the mid -week chart, the newcomer is currently  on course to keep glossy former X Factor winner Leona Lewis from claiming the top spot with her third album Glassheart. Bugg, currently touring with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, has been picking up celebrity endorsements from Lily Allen, and has seen serious rotation of his new single Two Fingers. As opposed to Lewis, Bugg has made his feelings on TV talent shows pretty clear, telling the Guardian earlier this year that "At school people would say I should go on Britain's Got Talent, but I would never have done that because it doesn't seem genuine, it doesn't feel natural."
