James Arthur says to stage: 'I'm not a homophobe anymore'

James Arthur joked at an Edinburgh gig last night (January 9th) that he's "not a homophobe anymore".

He is said to have said the following at the Usher Hall show: "this one will hopefully get played on the radio, 'cause I'm not a homophobe any more."

Arthur came into scrutiny in the latter stages of 2013 because of his schoolyard playground "you're gay", "no, you're gay" duel with rapper Micky Worthless. This led to further controversy after texts between him and a lesbian X Factor compatriot were leaked.

Apparently the show was sold out, and James Arthur's brigade were all singing along, while he was sipping honey and lemon and assuring folks that he's "not been well", presumably, neither were they...
