John Lydon just tried to defend Trump and Farage
John Lydon has always been a clever bloke pretending to be an anarchist firebrand when anyone is watching, but his latest attempts to be controversial have taken him into the modern political waters and support of right wing racists.
He appeared on Good Morning Britain, and made the staggering statement that Nigel Farage was “fantastic,” and “After that up the River Thames argument he had with Bob Geldof I wanted to shake his hand because it was silly beyond belief.”
And when it comes to Brexit, Lydon is even more willing to play the lunatic: “Where do I stand on Brexit? Well, here it goes, the working class have spoke and I’m one of them and I’m with them. And there it is.”
But it gets worse, because he tries to shock by defending the child currently shitting over the US: Trump is a “complicated fellow” and “What I dislike is the left-wing media in America are trying to smear the bloke as a racist and that’s completely not true, There are many, many problems with him as a human being but he’s not that and there just might be a chance something good will come out of that situation because he terrifies politicians… This is a joy to behold for me. Dare I say, a possible friend.”
