Kate Moss the Songwriter?

Anyone can write songs, but if you’re in the UK you need to register with the Performing Rights Society in order for them to collect the royalties for you from things like radio play. So, registering means you’re hoping for a bit of a career in songwriting. Which means the fact that overpayed clothes horse Kate Moss has registered should strike fear into our hearts. To be fair to her, she’s already written four tunes with Pete Doherty when they were together, but on the flip side, she’s written four tunes with Pete Doherty. She’s also got form for singing too, with appearances on Lemonheads and Primal Scream records. This means she might just be getting what she’s owed from older tracks. It might mean we’ll be hearing her compositions shortly...
